why should we celebrate milad

Shah Mohammed Ali: Why should we celebrate milad?

The celebration of milad un nabi sws
Is the celebration of Milad proven by Hadith and quran?
First we have to understand that what is the meaning of milad
Celebrating the mawlid of the holy prophet peace be upon him :mins an act of thanking the almighty Allah for his great favour that he has done on the mankind in this world.
As mention in quran

Why should we celebrate milad

Surah al imran ayath 164
Translation:
Allah has indeed bestowed a great favour upon the Muslims, in that He sent to them a Noble Messenger (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) from among them, who recites to them His verses, and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and wisdom; and before it, they were definitely in open error. (The Holy Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – is one of Allah’s greatest favours to mankind.)
the couplet of the Holy Quran clearly say that the almighty Allah has blessed the entire mankind with such a great favour and what is the favor it is sending the Holy prophet peace be upon him to this world.

Celebrating the mawlid of the holy prophet peace be upon him is permissible and an act of thanking the almighty Allah for his great favour that he has done on the mankind in this world.

Now let us understand what is the meaning of the word “MAWLID”
Mawlid is an Arabic word which means birth or you can also say it as day one is born.
As it is proved with the holy Quran and Hadith of the holy prophet (peace be upon him)in the previous article that if you get a favour from the almighty you should rejoice and celebrate it.
In the entire universes the best thing that almighty has favoured is sending the holy prophet peace be upon him to this world
[29/10, 22:00] Shah Mohammed Ali: عن أبي قتادة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم سئل عن صوم يوم الإثنين فقال : "ذاك يوم ولدت فيه ، أخرج مسلم في صحيحه (2/819)
On the authority of Abu Qatadah, the Messenger of Allah, may allah bless him and grant him peace, asked about fasting on the monday day, he said:I was born that day

This hadith proves that:Expressing happiness on receiving blessings is proved by the actions of the Holy Prophet (sws) himself

And there is no blessing or mercy in this universe more than the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
